Whether you are headed to the office, school, or about to embark on that once in a lifetime road trip, this bag has you covered. Our Briefcase is handmade in our shop with only the best, full grain leather from the oldest tannery in America, solid brass hardware in your choice of four awesome finishes, and a very careful attention to detail. This bag’s lifetime is meant to be measured in decades, not years. Over time and with use, the leather will develop a rich patina, and since no two bags ever age the same, yours will soon have it’s own unique story to tell.

The inside of this bag is secured by two 8oz leather straps and gives you ample space for the things you carry. Also built in: a laptop sleeve to keep your computer secure, a couple of slim pockets for a small notebook or wallet, and a couple of pen loops. On the front of the bag, you have a 6” x 8” pocket giving you quick access to keys, phone, or anything else you may need at a moments notice. The shoulder strap can be looped through the large d-ring on back and attached to the smaller d-rings on back to carry as a backpack.

Another feature not often mentioned by others but one we take seriously is edging. When you first cut vegetable tanned leather the edges are very rough. Many makers round off the edges and call it a day. We take it a step, actually four steps, further. After rounding off the edges by hand with a beveler, we lightly sand and cover with some saddle soap to soften. Then it’s ran through a burnisher to smoothen out the leather fibers. Once completed the leather edge is dyed and coated with our custom blend of oils and beeswax and ran through the burnisher again. When completed, our edges are nice and smooth to the touch. It makes our products look great, and also protects the leather over time from the elements.
