Elegant lines and a simple classic look would describe this tote best, but do not let its looks fool you. This bag is pretty and tough as nails. Made with one solid piece of 5oz full grain vegetable tanned bridle leather, solid brass hardware, and a walnut base (on the inside), this tote is made to last years and is super light weight at only 1lb. 13oz. The two leather handles on this bag are just the right length to carry by hand or swing  onto one shoulder. Pockets on either side of the interior provide space for a cellphone, pens, wallet, or keys.

Unlike most totes out there, ours is designed with a sturdy base to keep its shape whether full or empty. This makes it easy to carry loose pages or folders, but will handle several books just as easily. A great choice for an everyday carry, our tote is available in our four leather and hardware finishes, choose the ones you like best. Don’t worry though, they all look great!

Another feature not often mentioned by others but one we take seriously is edging. When you first cut vegetable tanned leather the edges are very rough. Many makers round off the edges and call it a day. We take it a step, actually four steps, further. After rounding off the edges by hand with a beveler, we lightly sand and cover with some saddle soap to soften. Then it’s ran through a burnisher to smoothen out the leather fibers. Once completed the leather edge is dyed and coated with our custom blend of oils and beeswax and ran through the burnisher again. When completed, our edges are nice and smooth to the touch. It makes our products look great, and also protects the leather over time from the elements.
